If we could learn how to say sorry, we could solve so many things. Why can’t we just apologize for our transgressions? Rather than trying to justify our every action, we must admit that we are wrong sometimes, because not being able to admit that you are wrong is a huge sign of arrogrance. No one on this earth can be 100% right every time and you could say one word that could hurt someone’s feelings. So we need to stop thinking we are top dogs and just say sorry. I apologize for anything I have ever done to anyone, whether big or small.
If we could learn how to forgive, we could solve so many things. As my dad always says, “dont sweat the small stuff”. Someone is rude to us in the grocery store, and our whole day is ruined and we are treating everyone like crap which starts an endless cycle of mad people getting everyone mad.
If we could learn how to be grateful, we could solve so many things. No matter how much we are given, we want more more more more more, I can keep going. A huge reason is because once we get that brand new Honda civic, we look at the guy with the 2050 Lamborghini rather than just being grateful that we have a car because having a car is not a given but a luxury. Anything we are given on this earth, whether big or small, we should be grateful for because there could be a day when we wont have it.
If we could realize that we are only human, we could solve so many things. It sounds easy but if it were, we would not be facing the many things we do today. We are all humans, we come here, we get old, and we die. And there is nothing else to it, how cool do we think we are. Yes, we create things that can change all of humanity and do all of these cool things, but at the end of the day, we are all human, so thinking we are any better than the next is ridiculous. There is a saying that no matter how big and bad someone might think they are, everyone’s poop still smells, meaning no matter how “BA” you believe you are, you are just human, one who eats, drinks, lives and dies.
I feel as though we are lacking the basics of being a human, and the further and further away we drift from our morality, we become corrupt and even worse than animals. We need to ask for forgiveness, forgive, say thanks, and humble ourselves.
